FAMU House: 

FAMU House is a multi-day interactive experience that takes place during SXSW. FAMU House’s mission is to create a space for FAMU Alumni and other HBCU Alumni groups to connect with Austin’s technology companies, SXSW Festival Attendees and the City of Austin in an effort to enrich cultural significance in the area. Additionally, we are looking to recruit for the university, reconnect with Alumni and foster relationships that will ultimately yield strategic partnerships

for our organization.

Send-Off 

The ATX Rattler welcomes incoming Rattlers and their families each summer at ATX Rattlers Send Off, held each summer in Austin, Texas. These fun and casual events provide new students and families with a personal welcome from alumni, other families and current students from their home area. The Send Offs are the perfect setting to ask questions about FAMU, college life in general and living in Tallahassee — and to make new friends before transitioning to college.
